PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power consumption control system, which is installed in a general home or building, capable of controlling power consumption in the home or a company tennant within the building.

SOLUTION: The power consumption control system includes: means of receiving state information from a plurality of nodes that are outlets or power supply taps to create system configuration information; means of detecting variations in the created system configuration information; and means of creating instruction information to transmit the information to the related node.
