<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharging system of an internal combustion engine, improving fuel economy by complementing supercharging insufficiency of a supercharger during a reduced-cylinder operation. <P>SOLUTION: This supercharging system of an engine 10 includes a supercharger 13 driven by exhaust energy to pressure-feeding an intake and allows a reduced-cylinder operation in which an arbitrary cylinder out of a plurality of cylinders is selectively inactivated. The supercharging system comprises: an intake passage 11; a bypass passage 15; a mechanical supercharger 14 provided at the bypass passage 15; a valve 16 shutting off the intake passage 11 during the driving of the mechanical supercharger 14; and an auxiliary supercharging control part 45 for driving the mechanical supercharger 14 during the reduced-cylinder operation of the engine 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
