<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact magnetic gear of high output torque by using a field salient pole rotor, where permanent magnets magnetized in the direction opposite from the leakage flux flow between magnetic poles adjoining in the circumferential direction are interposed between the magnetic poles, in at least one rotor thereby reducing the leakage field flux flowing between the magnetic poles and increasing the field magnetic flux contributive to the output torque. <P>SOLUTION: A first rotor 4 and a second rotor 12 are disposed coaxially side by side in the axial direction via an air gap on the inner peripheral side of a plurality of stator pole pieces 30 arranged in the circumferential direction at a predetermined pitch. The first rotor 4 consists of a field salient pole rotor excited by a field winding 9, and an inter-pole magnet 11 is interposed between salient pole heads 8 adjoining in the circumferential direction. Each inter-pole magnet 11 is magnetized in a direction from the salient pole head 8 of S pole toward the salient pole head 8 of N pole of the adjoining salient pole heads 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
