<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of wireless transmission by suppressing occurrence of interference. <P>SOLUTION: A wireless communication system comprises a first wireless station, a second wireless station, and a third wireless station. Using a first wireless format, the first wireless station transmits, to the second wireless station, data scrambled using a first scrambling code. The second wireless station receives the data transmitted from the first wireless station, scrambles the data using a second scrambling code different from the first scrambling code, and transmits the data to the third wireless station using a second wireless format different from the first wireless format.
