PURPOSE: A blood temperature sensing device capable of checking the temperature of blood for stable blood management is provided to automatically calculate the temperature of blood contained in a blood bag and to calculating the accurate temperature by using light quantity variations, thereby enhancing the efficiency of blood management. CONSTITUTION: A blood temperature sensing device comprises an identification unit(10) and sensor processing unit(20). The identification unit is attached on a surface of a blood bag, thereby saving the information of blood contained in the blood bag. A color of the identification unit is changed depending on the temperature of the contained blood and state properties of the identification unit are irreversibly changed. The sensor processing unit is arranged on the top of the identification unit and reads the information saved in the identification unit with a reader. The sensor processing unit calculates the blood temperature information based on light quantity variations caused by variations of the state properties of the identification unit. The sensor processing unit transmits the calculated blood temperature information and the information read by the reader to outside. |
