<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound output system for allowing guide sound to be reliably heard. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When a sound kind determining section 6 determines that the kind of sound data to be outputted is the guide sound of a navigation function, a sound output detecting section 7 detects all the sound output devices 5 capable of performing sound outputs. A sound output determining section 8 performs control to allow the detected sound output devices 5 capable of performing sound outputs to output the guide sound of the sound data to be outputted.
