<p>A metered drinking cup comprises a container body 11 in which a liquid is retained; a removable lid 13; the lid having an eccentrically located aperture through which a user can obtain the drink, the lid further having depending therefrom into the body of the internal volume of the container body, a measuring means 16, the measuring means comprising a substantially tubular member, orientated such that it is parallel to the base of the container body, the tubular member being at a first end 17 in open fluid contact with a liquid in the container body, and at a second end joined in fluid contact to a first end of a connector 15, the second end of the connector being in fluid connection to the aperture, the measuring means, connector and aperture forming thereby a conduit from a liquid in the container to a user, and wherein the first end 17 of the measuring means 16 is orientated in use away from the user. In an embodiment two or more measuring means may be in fluid communication with the connector.</p> |
