<p>A two component device for supporting and retaining a cable or wire bundle 65 in a cable channel 60 or duct comprises: a support part 10 that has a shaped support surface 14 with an elongate recess 16 for a cable tie 64; and a base part 12 which is secured to the support part 10 (e.g. by friction or snap-fit) and to the floor 62 of the cable channel 60 (e.g. by rivets 63). The support part 10 has a cable tie bar 18 that extends transversely across and above the elongate recess 16 in the support surface 14. The base part 12 also has a cable tie bar 30 that extends across and above its base 42 and which is shaped and positioned to fit immediately below the tie bar 18 on the support part 10 so that a cable tie 64 can pass through the elongate recess 16 and under both cable tie bars 18, 30 to secure a cable/wire bundle 65 on the support surface 14 of the support part 10.</p> |
