A device to manipulate a fluid flow between a towed vehicle 200 and tow vehicle 50. The device comprises a deflector portion 1800 and an attachment portion, wherein the deflector portion is attached proximate a front of the towed vehicle. The deflector portion is configured to manipulate a portion of the wake located between the vehicles, such that the flow, from over the tow vehicle, is diverted away from a front face 210 of the towed vehicle, thereby reducing a drag on a front of the towed vehicle. The towed vehicle may be a caravan. The deflector portion may extend along a substantial portion of the width of the towed vehicle and may be extend downwardly from the bottom surface, or lower edge of the towed vehicle by about 20-60cm. The deflector portion may also extend outwardly in a horizontal direction by 5-50 cm. |
