Frame for a dust space filter of a vacuum cleaner

The frame (1) has air guide channels for guiding air from a dust space of a vacuum cleaner to dust space filter e.g. non-woven fabric, sides (2, 3) of the frame. The channels are provided with access windows, which laterally adjoin at the dust space filter sides. The channels are formed by ribs (4a-4c). The ribs and the channels perpendicularly project from the dust space filter sides. The channels comprise an outer section with uniform cross-section, and a subsequent section with a tapered cross-section. A length of the outer section ranges between 1.5 cm and 1.7 cm. An independent claim is also included for a vacuum cleaner.
