Anthraquinone dispersion dyestuffs of (I) where R = 1-4 C alkyl, n = 1 or 2, and the aromatic nucleus A may be further substituted, esp. cpds. (IIe where R = -CH2, -CH2-CH2-, R4 = H, OMe or OEt, and R5 = H, Cl, Br. OMe, OEt, methoxyethoxy or ethoxy-ethoxy grp. Blue dispersion dyes for synthetic fibres, esp. polyesters, cellulose 2 1/2- and 3-acetate and synthetic polyamides. Dyeing is pref. carried out at 130-190 deg.C or lower, in the usual way, e.g. as described in FR 1,445,371. |
