<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating apparatus that changes a magnetic field generated from a heating coil to change a heating distribution by changing an orientation of a current flowing through each heating coil when one load is heated with a plurality of heating coils. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Changing the operation timing of a semiconductor switch according to a switching means state causes orientations of currents flowing through respective heating coils to be changed, thereby making it possible to change a heating distribution.
