摘要 FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing primary alkyl ethers of glycerol, which can be used as biofuel or as biofuel additives. The method involves activating treatment of a catalyst, reaction of a primary alcohol with glycerol in molar ratio of primary alcohol to glycerol ranging from 3:1 to 9:1, in the presence of a solid acid catalyst, at temperature ranging from 60 to 300°C for 5-8 hours with average hourly rate of feeding material of about 0.2 h, in a fixed-bed reactor and separating the required glycerol ethers which are converted to said reaction mixture.EFFECT: disclosed method enables to selectively obtain primary alkyl ethers of glycerol with high output in moderate conditions over a much shorter period of time.8 cl, 9 ex, 1 tbl
