PURPOSE: A method for preparing polymannuronate and derivative thereof using Pseudomonas sp. strain is provided to ensure high use in pharmaceutical and medicinal fields. CONSTITUTION: A Pseudomonas sp. strain which produces poly-beta-D-mannuronate(PM) contains genetically modified 169th base(T) of mucA for reducing MuA(anti-sigma factor) activity, and genetically modified 422th amino acid(arginine) for reducing AlgG activity. A method for preparing polymers comprises a step of culturing the strain which produces polymannuronate or derivative thereof: and a step of isolating polymannuronate or derivative thereof from the culture. |
