PURPOSE: A device and a method for manufacturing a multi-flange type journal of crankshaft are provided to enable to form the densification of a minute structure, thereby preventing inner defects. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a multi-flange type journal of crankshaft comprises; a step(S100) for heating an ingot; a step(S200) for performing primary upsetting the heated ingot; a step(S300) for cogging a molded article obtained through the primary upsetting step; a step(S600) for performing a secondary upsetting step for forming an end flange spaced from the central flange by upsetting on small diameter unit; and a step(S700) for machine-processing the molded article completed the secondary upsetting step.
