PURPOSE: A device and a method for providing robot work data are provided to prevent a weld line from being set in an area shielded by an additional member. CONSTITUTION: A device for providing robot work data comprises a division unit(120), a sorting unit(130), and a weld line setting unit(150). The division unit divides a lower plate included in diagram information into at least one cell based on a base member and generates cell information including coordinate information and property information. The sorting unit sorts first cell having horizontal and vertical lengths over each reference length. The weld line setting unit sets a connection line between an additional member designated to the first cell, and the base member or lower plate included in the first cell as a weld line.
