PURPOSE: A brake pedal sensor and a signal generation method thereof are provided to allow a user to semi-permanently use the brake pedal sensor by sensing the movement of a brake pedal with a hall switch as a non-contact method. CONSTITUTION: A brake pedal sensor and a signal generation method thereof comprise a magnetic field generating unit, a driving unit, a circuit board, a circuit board accommodating unit(500), a main body(100), and a magnetic field cutoff unit. The magnetic field generating unit generates a magnetic field with a magnet. The driving unit is connected to the magnetic field generating unit and moves the magnetic field generating unit. The circuit board comprises a first hall switch and a second hall switch. The circuit board accommodating unit accommodates the circuit board. The main body is connected to the driving unit and the circuit board accommodating unit and supplies space for movement of the driving unit. The magnetic field cutoff unit is connected to a fixing groove of the main body and cuts off the magnetic field generated outside. |
