The invention provides a pet snack and a preparation method thereof. The method comprises the following steps: selecting food processing wastes; selecting kitchen wastes; sterilizing the food processing wastes and the kitchen wastes at high temperature respectively and then drying the wastes; and crushing the sterilized food processing wastes and the sterilized kitchen wastes into powder, evenly mixing the powder with a feed mixer, and processing for forming the evenly mixed powder with a food processing and forming machine. In the invention, the food processing wastes and the kitchen wastes are made into the pet snack, which utilizes leftover resources, reduces garbage disposal pressure and eliminates factors resulting in food safety problems from a source. The pet snack obtained by the method has the characteristics of low production cost, rich nutrition, good palatability and the like. The invention provides diversified pet dog snack products for a market. |
