According to the present invention, after a step for producing objects having unique patterns on respective surfaces and storing the objects in respective containers, each object stored in the containers is identified. An object information registration device (100) performs the following: acquires and associates unique image information and an image capture time for each object having a unique pattern on a surface, the unique image information being of an image of the pattern on the surface of the respective object captured at a predetermined image capturing location before the object is stored in a container during the production process of the object; acquires and associates container identification information identifying the containers in which the objects are stored and time ranges in which the objects are stored in the containers; and, for each object, registers the container identification information in association with the acquired corresponding unique image information, on the basis of the time difference between the time when the image of the object is captured and the time when the object is stored in the container, the image capture time associated with the unique image information of the object, and the time range associated with the container identification information of the container which stores the object. |
