<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating an electrode base and an insoluble electrode material coating forming an insoluble metal electrode to recover the electrode base without damaging it. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes bringing the insoluble metal electrode composed of the electrode base formed of titanium and/or titanium alloy and the insoluble electrode material coating containing metal such as platinum, palladium, iridium, or the like and the oxidized material of the metal into contact with a mixed solution containing an alkaline fluoride such as potassium fluoride and an inorganic acid salt such as potassium sulfate to thereby recover the electrode based without damaging it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
