<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reduction of heat generation of a shield member and reduction of a leakage magnetic field without degrading cooling performance of a coil unit by the shield member. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic induction heating cooker comprises: a coil unit 4 at least including induction heating coils 5 and 6, a ferrite core 22 provided under the induction heating coils 5 and 6 and serving as a magnetic path of magnetic flux generated by the induction heating coils 5 and 6, and a coil base 21 holding the induction heating coils 5 and 6 and the ferrite core 22; a shield member 8 provided under the coil unit 4 for reducing a leakage magnetic field from the induction heating coils 5 and 6; a jet stream plate 7 having a plurality of first holes 7a for blowing out cooling air cooling the coil unit 4 and arranged under the shield member 8. In the shield member 8, a plurality of second holes 8a corresponding to the plurality of first holes 7a of the jet stream plate 7 are formed.
