<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a battery pack in which square batteries are stacked to be fixed in ideal conditions, and to prevent deterioration of battery performance in use. <P>SOLUTION: The battery pack is characterized by including: a battery block 3 containing a plurality of square batteries stacked in one direction; a pair of end plates 5, 25, 45 arranged on both end surfaces of the battery block 3 in stacking direction; metal bands 6, 26, 46 connecting to the pair of end plates 5, 25, 45; and a rivet for fixing the metal bands 6, 26, 46 with the pair of end plates 5, 25, 45, where the metal plate 6, 26, 46 are fixed on outside surfaces of the end plates 5, 25, 45 via the rivet while including bent parts formed at both ends thereof, the bent parts having through holes 17 into which the rivets are inserted, and the battery block 3 is fixed in a compression state via the metal bands 6, 26, 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
