<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stabilized electric connection resistance in gentle crimping conditions. <P>SOLUTION: In a terminal fitting 12 having a crimp part 30 being crimped to a coated wire 40, an aluminum layer or an aluminum alloy layer is formed on the surface layer of a base material composing the crimp part 30, and an alumite layer 35 harder than the base material is formed on the surface of an aluminum layer or an aluminum alloy layer.
