<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of securing separation performance of a sheet and preventing inconveniences such as contamination inside the apparatus from occurring due to a back-flow wind from an air-separation unit. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus including a Sirocco fan type air-separation part having a fan blowing part composed of a cylindrical multiblade fan in which a number of forward curved vanes are erected on a circumference, and an air duct connected to a blast port of the fan blowing part, for separating a sheet from a heating part by blasting wind toward a sheet discharging side of a nip part through the air-duct, comprises a guide part for guiding a back-flow wind blown from a peripheral edge part of an air-intake port of the fan blowing part to a prescribed region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
