<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an airtight member by which a sealing layer excellent in airtight sealing performance can be formed with good reproducibility, when laser heating is applied to a step of forming a sealing material layer and a sealing layer. <P>SOLUTION: A sealing material layer 5 is formed by irradiating laser light for firing from a first irradiation starting position LS1 of the frame-like coating layer to a first irradiation finishing position LF1 while being scanned along a frame-like coating layer of a sealing material paste. A first glass substrate and a second glass substrate 2 are stacked via the sealing material layer 5, and a sealing layer is formed, by irradiating from a second irradiation starting position LS2 being set at a position different from the first irradiation starting position LS1 and the first irradiation finishing position LF1 to a second irradiation finishing position LF2, being irradiated with laser light 8 for sealing while being scanned along the sealing material layer 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
