<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic guitar which is stabilized when a player plays with the guitar on the knees. <P>SOLUTION: A side board 4 is heated by an iron or the like and bent with a torsion angle of approximately 70 degrees relative to the longitudinal direction of the side board 4 from a top board 2 to a back board to shape a constricted curved face.
