<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically obtain a maximum power point of current×voltage, or an optimum operation point, both of which can maximize the electromotive force generated by a thermoelectric transducer and to output them to a load and/or a storage battery. <P>SOLUTION: An output control device for a thermoelectric transducer comprises: means for detecting and measuring a current I of an electromotive force outputted from the thermoelectric transducer; means for detecting and measuring a voltage V of the electromotive force outputted from the thermoelectric transducer; means for performing a comparison operation of an output power VI and an internal loss RI<SP POS="POST">2</SP>of the thermoelectric transducer from the voltage V, the current I, and an inner resistance R of the thermoelectric transducer; and conversion means for converting a width W or a duty value D of pulse waves of output pulses from a PWM by determination values obtained by the comparison operation. The pulse width W or the duty value D of the PWM that controls a current switch of the converter are changed by using a function of a determination value 1=VI-RI<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or a determination value 2=V-RI. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
