<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device that prevents a commutation failure. <P>SOLUTION: The power conversion device includes: a conversion circuit having a plurality of pairs of switching elements capable of bidirectional switching connected to respective phases to convert input AC power to AC power; voltage detection means for detecting an input voltage to the conversion circuit; and control means for turning on/off the switching elements to control the conversion circuit. The control means has a switching time calculation section for calculating a first switching time from the detection voltage detected by the voltage detection means and calculating a second switching time from a carrier and the first switching time, and a control signal generation section for generating control signals to turn on/off the switching elements by the use of the first switching time and the second switching time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
