<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device capable of discriminating between a three-dimensional object actually having height and a non-three-dimensional object having the height in appearance, as a target. <P>SOLUTION: The radar device comprises: transmission means for transmitting electric waves; and receiving means for receiving reflected waves of the electric waves transmitted from the transmission means, and detects a target on the basis of the reflected waves received by the receiving means. The radar device also comprises: height detection means for detecting relative height to a reference position of the target, on the basis of the reflected waves received by the receiving means; and three-dimensional object determination means for determining whether or not the target is a three-dimensional object having absolute height, on the basis of change, by distance or time, of the relative height detected by the height detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
