<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot whose manufacturing cost can be lowered by reducing the number of parts necessary for swinging a tip-side arm or rotating an end effector. <P>SOLUTION: The robot includes a motor and a hypoid gear. The motor is provided in a robot arm.
