SOLUTION: A communication apparatus 2 includes a power amount calculation unit 202 for calculating the amount of power to be usable in another apparatus during a period in which a second communication unit and a first communication unit are communicable each other. The communication apparatus 2 includes a determination unit 204. The determination unit 204 determines a navigation engine 2f as a generation unit to generate navigation information to be output from a portable terminal 3 when the calculated power amount is smaller than a predetermined amount. The communication apparatus 2 includes a control unit 206 for stopping power supply to a navigation engine 3f etc. when the determination unit has determined the navigation engine 2f, and controlling the portable terminal 3 to output the navigation information generated in the navigation engine 2f.
