<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planographic printing plate precursor showing good ink receptivity in a conventional developing system and a simple developing system, and having high plate wear. <P>SOLUTION: The planographic printing plate precursor includes an image recording layer and a protective layer, in this order on a support body. The image recording layer includes (A) a sensitized dye, (B) a polymerization initiator, (C) a polymerizable compound and (D) a polymer insoluble with water and soluble with an alkali; and in the image recording layer, an image can be formed by exposing and removing an unexposed part in the presence of a developing solution having a pH of 2 to 14 by an automatic developing machine. The protective layer includes (E) a hydrophilic polymer having repeating units expressed by general formula (1) and general formula (2), in which the sum of the two repeating units is at least 95 mol% with respect to the whole repeating units constituting the polymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
