<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption, while maintaining productivity of an image forming output in an image forming apparatus which can execute drawing processing by hardware and software. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a hardware drawing processing control part 212 which obtains determination information indicative of a content of an image to formed and output according to display list creation and determines whether the drawing processing should be executed by a hardware accelerator 230 based on HA determination condition information determined according to PPM of a print engine 160 and a processing amount of the drawing processing determined based on the obtained determination information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
