<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer that can excellently absorb tensile force to those sheets corresponding to respectively of a plurality of kinds of different width paper as the act. <P>SOLUTION: A printer of the embodiment comprises a paper holding part, a conveying part, a printing part and a buffer mechanism. The buffer mechanism is provided at the downstream side of the paper conveying direction of the paper holding part and the upstream side of the paper conveying direction of the conveying part, extends in the width direction of the paper orthogonal to the paper conveying direction, and has a propping member that props against the paper surface of the paper and a pair of elastic support parts that connect two ends in the width direction of the propping member and press the propping member on the paper surface of the paper by the elastic force, wherein the pair of elastic support parts are separately movable and the pair of the elastic support parts and the propping member are connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
