Dose 1-20 mg/60 kg. beta-Phenylpropionylchloride and C5H5N were added to 20alpha-hydroxy-9beta,10alpha-pregna-4,6-diene-3-one in T.H.F., stirred 24 h. at 25 deg., poured into H2O, extd. with CH2Cl2 and Et2O, the extract washed with H2O, 5% Na HCO3-Ag, and H2O, dried, evapd. in vac., and recryst. several times, giving the 20beta-phenylpropionate.</p> |
