[Also in Division F2] The drive for a printing or embossing roller 1 includes a shaft coupling 5 (see Division F2) of which the drive flanges 6, 7 are capable of relative angular adjustment to vary the register of the roller. As shown, flange 7 carries projecting drive pins 14 normally locked by detents 17 in positions in which semicircular portions at their ends engage correspondingly shaped circumferential recesses 10 in the second flange 6, axial separation of the flanges being prevented by shoulders 19 on the ends of the pins 14. The latter may be disengaged from flange 6 by rotation through 180 degrees to permit the angular adjustment of the flanges. |
