A manual ticket dispenser comprises a housing body 2, a lockable housing door 3 configured to close an opening in the housing body, a ticket dispensing aperture, a lockable security cover 5 configured to prevent the removal of tickets through the aperture, and a lock assembly 6, wherein the lock assembly is configured to lock the housing door and security cover in a first orientation, is configured to lock only the door in a second orientation, and is configured not to lock the door or the cover in a third orientation. The lock assembly may include a multi-way locking arm 57 having arms 57A, 57B of different lengths. A ticket dispenser may also comprise a ledge projecting externally from the housing adjacent to a dispensing aperture and a pivotable ticket control cam with tickets dispensed between the control cam and the ledge, the cam forcing the tickets against the ledge preventing the return of tickets into the dispenser housing. Further disclosed is a ticket dispensing module that has latched rails allowing adjacent dispensing modules to be connected together and a base module for a ticket dispenser having an angled channel and projecting section that co-operate to secure the ticket dispenser to a surface. |
