The component has a stationary body (4) comprising a surface (4a), where a recess (18) is formed on the surface of the body. A conveying element (6) is movable in relation to the surface of the body in a rotating direction (R). An outer side (6a) of the conveying element comprises multiple retaining portions (12) for temporary retaining of articles (14). An aperture is formed at an inner side of the conveying element by a layer. A through-hole is brought in fluid connection with the recess and with the aperture during stationary arrangement of the layer on the surface of the body. The layer is designed as a film, a metal sheet or an annular closed strip.
