PURPOSE: An optical sheet, a backlight unit including the same, and a liquid crystal display device thereof are provided to prevent the penetration of oxygen and moisture in the air by forming a moisture-proof film on a front surface, a rear surface, or the optical sheet. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal panel and a backlight unit. The backlight unit includes an optical sheet(470). The backlight unit is placed on the rear surface of the liquid crystal panel. An optical portion(170a) of the optical sheet spreads or collects light. Moisture-proof films(210a,210b,220a,220b) of the optical sheet protect the optical portion from outer moisture on the front surface of the optical portion.
