PURPOSE: A refrigerator with a window of which the transmittance is variable is provided to allow a user to identify the inside of the refrigerator before the door of the refrigerator is opened, thereby preventing the door from being unnecessarily opened or closed. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator(100) with a window of which the transmittance is variable includes a main body housing(10), a door(20), a transmittance varying panel, and a touch panel. Food is housed inside the main body housing. The door capable of being opened or closed is installed on one side of the main body housing. The transmittance varying panel, which is installed on at least one of the main body housing or the door, is maintained to be transparent or opaque depending on whether or not power is supplied. The touch panel, which is installed on the front of the transmittance varying panel, actuates the transmittance varying panel when a user touches the touch panel. The transmittance varying panel includes a lower and an upper class substrate, conductive transparent films, a suspension, and light polarizing particles. A spacer is intervened between the lower and the upper class substrates so that the lower and the upper class substrates can be installed to face each other. The conductive transparent films are respectively installed on the mutually opposite surfaces of the lower and the upper class substrates. The suspension is sealed between the conductive transparent films. The light polarizing particles are dispersed inside the suspension.
