The panel has a pinching detection unit comprising transverse detection optical fibers (31, 32a, 32b) and longitudinal detection optical fibers (33, 34) optically coupled to a light source and mounted on edges (121-124) of an interior trim (12). Pinching detectors are fixed on an upper face (120) of the trim and optically coupled to the fibers. The detectors detect intensity of light propagating in the fibers. A controller is fixed to the upper face of the trim and coupled to the detectors to output a pinching detection signal based on the light intensity detected by each detector. The trim has a lower face provided with a covering layer made of flexible material such as textile material. |
