摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a charging current to an appropriate value while avoiding a breaker trip regardless of the type of electric vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: When a signal processing section 10 changes the duty ratio of a pilot signal, the pilot signal is once stopped by setting a signal voltage to zero and the pilot signal is then transmitted at the changed duty ratio. When the pilot signal is once stopped, a period during which a total current consumption is in excess of a rated current is only the time required for the signal processing section 10 stopping the pilot signal, and therefore there is no adverse effect of processing time in an electric vehicle 200.
