<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phenolic resin composition for rubber compounding capable of applying high mechanical strength to a rubber compound without degrading its low exothermic property and without reducing toughness or stretch when compounded into rubber, and of inhibiting increase of viscosity when kneading the rubber compound composition, thereby improving workability, as well as the rubber compound composition compounded with the phenolic resin composition. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber-reinforcing resin compound containing novolac-type phenolic resin and alkylresorcinol or alkylresorcinol resin is solid with a softening point at 70-130°C. Content of the alkylresorcinol or the alkylresorcinol resin is 1-50 wt.% with respect to the total resin compound, and the alkylresorcinol or the alkylresorcinol resin is solid or liquid with a softening point at 110°C or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
