The present invention relates to a wireless communication system including a first terminal 100 for modulating a target signal into a plurality of frequency signals of different bands to transmit the modulated signals as radio frequency (RF) signals and a second terminal 200 for detecting the target signals included in the plurality of frequency signals of different bands. The RF signals received from the first terminal are processed only when at least two of the detected target signals correspond to each other. The target signal may be a wake up command for a mobile device. By only acting on a signal when at least two signals correspond to each other reduces the likelihood of a mobile device powering on when interference is interpreted as a wake signal.
