<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device of articles dispensing with a synchronizing mechanism or a suction switching mechanism of a first rotary disk and a second rotary disk, simple in structure, surely and stably transferring articles even continuously rotating each of the rotary disks, and greatly improving the conveying capacity, and to provide a conveying method. <P>SOLUTION: In the conveying device 10 of articles provided with the first rotary disk 1 and the second rotary disk 2 sucking and holding articles W on outer circumferences and rotating, and transferring the article W sucked and held to the outer circumference of the first rotary disk 1 at an article transferring part T where one parts of the respective outer circumferences are set close to each other, suction clearances 11, 21 are formed over the whole circumferences of the first rotary disk 1 and the second rotary disk 2, outside air is always sucked through the suction clearances 11, 21 to suck and hold the articles W.
