<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a heat exchanger plate in which the occurrence of voids around a heating medium tube can be suppressed, and to provide the heat exchanger plate. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: a heating medium tube inserting step for inserting the heating medium tube 16 in a recessed groove 8 formed in a bottom face of a lid groove 6 opening in a front side of a base member 2; a filling step for filling a heat conductive material 25 into a space surrounded by the recessed groove 8 and the circumference of the heating medium tube 16; a lid member inserting step for inserting a lid member 10 in the lid groove 6 and abutting the lid member 10 on the bottom face of the lid groove 6; and a bonding step for relatively moving a rotating tool with respect to butting parts V<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, V<SB POS="POST">2</SB>in which side walls of the lid groove 6 and side faces of the lid member 10 are opposed with each other and performing friction stirring. In the bonding step, the rotational tool is moved in a condition that the heating medium tube 16 is not plastically deformed, and friction stirring is performed to the butting part V<SB POS="POST">1</SB>of one side wall of the lid groove 6 and one side face of the lid member 10, and the butting part V<SB POS="POST">2</SB>of the other side wall of the lid groove 6 and the other side face of the lid member 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
