An air conditioner for an automobile equipped with a rotary heater core is provided to remove the necessity of a conventional temp door, thereby fabricating a compact air conditioner. An air conditioner for an automobile equipped with a rotary heater core includes an air conditioning case(100), an evaporator(E), and a heater core(H). The air conditioning case has vents(110,120,130), opening angles of which are adjusted by doors(110d,120d,130d). The evaporator and the heater core are installed in the air conditioning case. The heater core is rotated about a hinge shaft formed at one side of a first header tank or a second header tank. The air conditioning case accommodates the evaporator and the heater core. |
