<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of suppressing deterioration in display quality. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises: a first substrate having a plurality of pixel electrodes including a main pixel electrode; a second substrate having a common electrode CE including a peripheral electrode CD and a plurality of main common electrodes CA; a liquid crystal layer; and a display area R1. The plurality of pixel electrodes are disposed in the display area R1 and arranged at intervals in a first direction X and a second direction Y. The plurality of main pixel electrodes are formed extending along the second direction Y respectively. The peripheral electrode CD is formed in a frame shape over the outer periphery of the display area R1. The plurality of main common electrodes CA are arranged at intervals in the first direction X and sandwiches the plurality of main pixel electrodes in the first direction X to extend along the second direction Y respectively, and individual ends of which are connected to the peripheral electrode CD. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
