The device has a supply device (56) comprising a flow path (68) that is oriented with respect to a main flow direction (62) transverse to a connection direction (28). The supply device is formed such that a surface application of a boundary face (64) is increased along the main flow direction of the flow path and/or an electrode (22) i.e. anode, is formed such that an electrochemical activity of the electrode is increased along the main flow direction to increase a gas conversion related to a surface element of the boundary face at the electrode along the main flow direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing or operating a fuel cell device. |
