<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a display device capable of making a touch screen panel less susceptible to the effect of the noise that occurs when driving a liquid crystal panel. A display device (10) includes a liquid crystal panel (14) and a touch screen panel (12) disposed on the front side of the liquid crystal panel (14). The liquid crystal panel (14) has a pair of substrates (18,20), a liquid crystal layer (26) sealed between the pair of substrates (18,20), a conductive layer (30) formed on one of the pair of substrates (18,20), and a capacitor (36) connected to the conductive layer (30). The conductive layer (30) is formed on the substrate (20) positioned on the side of the touch screen panel (12) among the pair of substrates (18,20). The conductive layer (30) extends over the entire liquid crystal layer (26) when viewing the liquid crystal panel (14) from the front. The capacitor (36) has one end connected to the conductive layer (30) and the other end connected to ground.</p> |
